THE FABLES OF LEONARDO DA VINCI

Written and directed by Tami Zimmerman Henry

Obvious to all is Leonardo’s legacy as an artist and many know of his dabblings in science and inventions, but these are only two facets of this very complex man.

Leonardo's upbringing in the town of Vinci gave him a life-long appreciation for nature and animals. While he had little formal schooling, he was a student of life and was able to convey these thoughts through a set of fables he penned in his notebooks.

Tireswing Theatre is pleased to celebrate the literary work of one of Italy’s most famous citizens. This original production will weave together fables and art, science and engineering, nature and philosophy – many of the things that drove and fascinated the illustrious fifteenth century figure.

Children and adults alike will feel the wonderment of the Renaissance as Tireswing’s own Leonardo creates a piece of artwork from start to finish as the fables are told!
