Blancaflor is a Faustian tale with a twist. Our everyman, Pedro, seeks to make his good luck last forever and decides to make a deal with el Diablo. After many years of fortune, Pedro is challenged by el Diablo for his soul. Just before Pedro is put to three tests, he meets Blancaflor, the good hearted daughter of el Diablo. With magic and love, Blancaflor helps Pedro to overcome the power of el Diablo.

Mexican tales have traditionally centered around legends of the devil, the strange doings of the saints, and the mysteries of human life. Drawing from Mexico's rich cultural heritage and mythology, our original adaptation of Blancaflor celebrates the courage and resilience of the feminine spirit. Our show will use radiant colors in a style reminiscent of famous Mexican muralists to vibrantly capture the spark behind the story. This will truly be a fiesta for the eyes, the spirit and the heart.
