Tireswing Theatre uses “Transformation Style Theater” to bring a group of Native American folk tales to life. Based around nature, harmony and balance, "Iagoo: The Storyteller" will delve into the world before settlers, before time and loss. The show will examine the power of myth and legend that fostered the first American culture we have all come to honor and respect. These stories highlight the importance of all creatures and animals of the earth, and the power of the spirit that lives inside them. We intend to show the relationships created and maintained between humans and the natural world that is the basis for the thousands of years Native American tribes were able to live in harmony with the world around them.
